Federated Wireless Raises Series D Round

Founded in 2012, Federated Wireless is a company involved in shared spectrum and CBRS technology. Federated Wireless secured US$ 58 million in Series D funding. An affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. (Cerberus) led the round, with existing investors Boston-based Allied Minds plc (LSE: ALM) and GIC Private Limited, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, also participating. The funding will help scale Federated Wireless’ platform and support further investments in its capabilities and partnerships.
Shared spectrum is also known as CBRS.
