Swiss Life Asset Managers Buys Duet Development in Manchester

The Swiss Life Group is the largest life insurance company of Switzerland. Swiss Life Asset Managers and its subsidiary Mayfair Capital acquired the Duet development in Manchester from the Moorfield Group managed Moorfield Real Estate Fund (MREF) IV fund for £73.9 million. The property is located in Salford Quays and the Duet was opened in 2019. Swiss Life Asset Managers is keen on expanding investments in residential developments in the United Kingdom.

Moorfield Group and Glenbrook developed the Duet, a U.K. residential community in Salford Quays. Salford Quays is an area of Salford, Greater Manchester, England, near the end of the Manchester Ship Canal.

Swiss Life acquired U.K. real estate fund manager Mayfair Capital in 2016.
