KKR to Acquire ContourGlobal

Private equity firm KKR is buying power generation company ContourGlobal plc in a £1.75 billion deal.
Under the terms of the acquisition, KKR will pay 263.6 pence per share in cash, which is a premium of 36% to the closing share price on May 16, 2022.
ContourGlobal operates 138 thermal and renewable power plants across Europe, Latin America, North America, and Africa. The company will add to KKR’s infrastructure investments that span industries such as renewables, utilities, transportation, water, and communications.
