Bank of Israel Increases Benchmark Interest Rate to 0.75 Percent

The Bank of Israel is the central bank of Israel. Inflation in Israel is exceeding the upper bound of the target range, at 4% over the past 12 months. With that, it remains significantly lower than in most advanced economies. The central bank’s Monetary Committee decided on May 23, 2022 to increase the interest rate to 0.75%.
