Temasek Invests in Another Round of Mohalla Tech, Parent Entity of ShareChat and Moj

Mohalla Tech is the parent company of Indian social media apps ShareChat, a regional social network, and Moj, a short-video platform. Mohalla Tech raised nearly US$ 300 million in fresh captial from Alphabet Inc’s Google, Singapore’s Temasek Holdings, and media firm Times Group. The capital raise has increased the valuation of Mohall Tech to US$ 5 billion from its previous valuation of US$ 3.7 billion.
In December 2021, Mohalla Tech raised US$ 266 million as part of its Series G round that was led by Alkeon Capital with participation from new and existing investors including Temasek Holdings, Moore Strategic Ventures (MSV), Harbourvest Partners, and India Quotient.
