Carlyle and GIC Funnel Money into Green Ammonia Company Eneus Energy

Posted on 08/04/2022

Carlyle Group and Singapore’s GIC Private Limited made an investment in green ammonia project development company Eneus Energy Limited, a Scottish company. The deal seeks to support Eneus in the development of a 14GW+ pipeline. The committed capital will finance Eneus’s development of a portfolio of green ammonia projects globally. Eneus believes that converting green hydrogen to ammonia turns it into an easily stored and economically transportable zero carbon fuel for end-user markets.

Eneus Energy was formed in 2013.
