BPL Pensioen Acquires 213 Apartments in the One Milky Way Project

Stichting BPL Pensioen (BPL Pensioen) is the pension fund for Dutch agriculture and horticulture sector workers.
BPL Pensioen, through Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance, purchased 213 apartments in the One Milky Way project on the Binckhorst. 30 of the units are being built using cross-laminated timber. VORM is the developer of the One Milky Way project and the residential units are being built by Waal. The project is scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2026.
On October 1, 2022, BPL Pensioen and DELA (DELA Cooperative) invested a total of €310 million in the ASR Dutch Farmland Fund. The ASR Dutch Farmland Fund consists of 36,000 hectares of Dutch agricultural land worth €1.8 billion. The fund invests in agricultural land in the Netherlands. The fund’s ambition is to grow further and pass on agricultural land to future generations in an even better condition.
