Deka Sells Le Malraux Building and Buys Future HQ in Amsterdam for Booking Holdings

Online travel giant Booking Holdings Inc. owns a number of brands including Kayak and Priceline.com. Booking Holdings inked a deal to sell its future corporate headquarters in Amsterdam for €556.3 million to Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH. Booking Holdings disclosed a deal to lease back the property for 16.5 years. The 53,000-square-meter campus is located on the Oosterdokseiland, in the heart of Amsterdam, and within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station. The property includes an underground parking garage for 1,800 cars.

Deka Immobilien has sold the office building Le Malraux in Paris from the portfolio of the WestInvest InterSelect open-ended real estate fund for €73 million to municipal water company Eau de Paris. Le Malraux is located in the Parisian sub-market of Paris Rive Gauche. It will remain fully leased to BCPE/Natixis Immo Exploitation SA until the end of March 2023.
