KIC Has Plans for an Office in Mumbai

The Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) formed a team tasked on opening a satellite office in Mumbai. KIC would join a number of sovereign wealth funds and large public pensions that have boots on the ground in India. Once finalized, this would be KIC’s fifth office overseas, following offices in New York, London, Singapore, and San Francisco.
Formed in 2005, KIC is managing funds from the country’s finance ministry and the Bank of Korea (BOK) and is only investing overseas.
