Mayfair Capital Investment Management Limited is the UK real estate investment arm of Swiss Life Asset Managers. It will now be known as Swiss Life Asset Managers UK.
The rebranding follows the acquisition of Mayfair Capital by Swiss Life Asset Managers in November 2016. Swiss Life Asset Managers has been in operation for over 165 years with expertise in risk management and real estate. Swiss Life Asset Managers is located across Europe, with offices in Switzerland, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Nordics and the UK. Of assets under management of £279 billion, £99 billion are invested in real estate. Swiss Life Asset Managers has £2 billion under management on behalf of institutions, charities, and endowments.
Swiss Life Asset Managers sees scope for increasing capital commitments to UK real estate. The firm says macro headwinds have limited investments since its acquisition of Mayfair Capital, but it is open to UK industrial, logistics, living, healthcare, and self-storage opportunities.
