D.R. Horton Sells Home Portfolio to Pretium Partners

Homebuilder D.R. Horton, Inc. sold a U.S. portfolio of combination of completed homes and homes that are not yet finished to real estate investment management firm Pretium Partners. This was reported as a US$ 1.5 billion deal. More than 4,000 homes are involved in the transaction, which are primarily located in high-demand markets in the Southeast and Southwest U.S. The homes were planned as single family rentals.
