Superannuation Employer Fee Increases in Australia

A new law that took effect July 1 will increase the employer superannuation fee paid by employers to 11%, a 0.5% increase. The amount will continue to increase until it reaches 12%. The cost to employers will equal about another AU$ 325 per worker per year. Projections estimate this amount will compound to an extra AU$ 50,000 by retirement age.
