Sentosa Development Corporation Picks WE Communications

Sentosa Development Corporation of Singapore will be working with WE Communications PR and Marketing for communications strategies to fulfill its mission as a state organization. The goal of the partnership is to increase tourism and promote experiences between visitors and locals.
Sentosa Development Corporation was established in 1972 as a Statutory Board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Its charter since inception has been to oversee the development, management, marketing, and general promotion of the island of Sentosa as a resort destination for locals and tourists. Sentosa is also home to Singapore’s first integrated resort, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). RWS also operates South East Asia’s first Universal Studios theme park, and the S.E.A. Aquarium, one of the largest aquariums in the world.
According to Sentosa, visitors are looking for more than a day at the beach: “Our guests are becoming more discerning with the type of leisure experiences that they are looking for. They wanted offerings which are authentic and experiences which allows for a sense of introspection.”
