SEC to Review BlackRock Bitcoin ETF Application

BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF will be reviewed by the SEC, setting the stage for a new method for the purchase of the cryptocurrency. Currently, investors can buy bitcoin or Grayscale’s Bitcoin Investment Trust. If approved, the ETF could clear the way for Fidelity’s application, and others. Bitcoin continues to hold above US$ 30,000. Europe will have its bitcoin ETF soon, with one set to launch later this summer.
