T-Mobile To 5,000: So Long

T-Mobile has been operating with 5,000 more employees than necessary, and will soon address the situation. Roughly 7% of its total employees will have to “Get More” somewhere else. But not without first receiving a severance package and 60 days of pay to soften the blow.
Tech and corporate employees at the Seattle area headquarters will be impacted. CEO Mike Sievert wrote he was ending jobs that are “duplicative to other roles, or may be aligned to systems or processes that are changing.”
