Warburg Pincus Raises $4 Billion for Energy Fund

New York-based Warburg Pincus LLC raised US$ 4 billion for its Warburg Pincus Energy Fund, beating its target raise of US$ 3 billion. High profile executives at the firm include former U.S. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner as president. The team at Warburg Pincus began marketing the fund in November 2013. The fund is backed by institutional investors such as pension funds, endowments and sovereign funds. The energy fund will focus on opportunities in energy exploration and production with an emphasis on North America. Keppel Land China Acquires Stake in Nanjing Jinsheng Real Estate Development

On September 20, 2018, Keppel Land China, a subsidiary of Singapore-based Keppel Corporation, purchased a 40% stake in Nanjing Jinsheng Real Estate Development Co, a subsidiary of Gemdale Corporation.
