PIF Jordanian Hospital Under Construction

Saudi Arabia’s PIF set aside US$ 24 billion for Middle Eastern and North African country investment. PIF disclosed plans to form investment companies to invest in Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Iraq and Sudan. The plan was to channel funds into several sectors including infrastructure, heath care, real estate and telecommunications.

In line with these plans, PIF is moving ahead with a US$ 400 million project in Jordan. It will be a health care facility, officially funded through PIF’s subsidiary, Saudi-Jordanian Investment Company. There will be a medical university, a large hospital, dozens of clinics, and specialists offices on site. It will be 110,000 square meters in size.
