DNC Pres. Contest: Former VP Biden Wins Michigan, as Bernie Sanders Loses Momentum

Former U.S. Vice President Joseph “Joe” Biden, a politically Moderate Democrat, will win the important primary contest in the state of Michigan. Biden also won Democrat contests in Mississippi and Missouri on the same day. With these victories, Biden is expected to substantially expand his delegate count over rival U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders who professes a socialist ideology. Bernie Sanders beat Hillary Clinton in Michigan in 2016 during the last Democrat presidential election.
Michigan is worth 125 delegates. Mississippi is worth 36 delegates. Missouri is worth 68 delegates.
