OFFICIAL: Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates are Divorced

Microsoft Co-Founder Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates have gotten divorced after 27 years of marriage. A Monday filing with the King County Superior Court of Washington made the divorce official. Bill Gates has family office called Cascade Investment.
Monday’s filing says neither spouse asked for a name change. According to a New York Times story in May 2021, Melinda hired divorce lawyers after media outlets published details on the bond between Bill Gates and investor Jeffrey Epstein (deceased). Convicted sex offender and alleged human trafficker Epstein ensnared many prominent billionaires and politicians in his circle including Leon Black (founder of Apollo Management), former U.S. President Bill Clinton, and Prince Andrew.
