Data Integration Company Fivetran Raises Series D Round and Buys HVR

Oakland, California-based Fivetran, Inc. is an automated data analytics company. Fivetran raised US$ 565 million in a Series D round, giving the Bay Area tech company a valuation of US$ 5.6 billion. Andreessen Horowitz led the Series B round and was joined by investors including General Catalyst, CEAS Investments, Matrix Partners, ICONIQ Capital, D1 Capital Partners, and YC Continuity. The Fivetran customer roster includes thousands of global companies such as ASICS, Autodesk, BJ’s Restaurants, Conagra Brands, DocuSign, Forever 21, Lionsgate, Square, and Ziff Davis.

In addition, Fivetran acquired competitor HVR for US$ 700 million. HVR is a provider of enterprise data replication technology.

Earlier, Fivetran bought database replication platform Teleport Data.
