1. SUPPLY CHAIN. Amazon.com, Inc. and Apple Inc. posted disappointing third quarter 2021 earnings and revenue. Both firms cited supply chain issues that costed them billions.
2. UK Queen Elizabeth II (age 95) has been advised by doctors to rest for at least the next two weeks and not undertake any official visits, Buckingham Palace said in a statement on Friday.
3. Live Nation pushing out collectible NFT ticket stubs called “Live Stubs”.
4. PILOT AND AIRLINE WARNINGS. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) raised significant concerns about a plan to use spectrum for 5G wireless networks on aviation safety and is planning to issue a formal warning about the issue. Network carriers are expected to begin using the C-Band spectrum starting December 5, 2021 starting in 46 markets.
5. S&P 500 hit an intraday record high. Stocks jumped more than 10% as drug companies reported strong results for their coronavirus vaccine candidates.
