General Atlantic Leads Series D Round in Biofourmis

Biofourmis Inc. is a Boston-based digital therapeutics company. Biofourmis raised US$ 300 million in a Series D investment round led by growth equity firm General Atlantic LLC. CVS Health (NYSE: CVS) and existing investors also participated in the round. Biofourmis also announced that former Medtronic CEO and Chairman at Intel Corporation, Omar Ishrak, will join the company’s Board of Directors as Chairman. Existing investors include SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Openspace Ventures, MassMutual Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and Singapore’s EDBI (Singapore Economic Development Board ).
