1. King Charles III (formerly Prince Charles) will appear on bank notes by the middle of 2024, according to the Bank of England. The Bank of England will reveal the image of the new monarch to be used on the polymers by the end of the year.
2. Prosecutors in Seoul revealed that the international police organization (INTERPOL) has issued a Red Notice for Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon (age: 31 years) (name: Kwon Do-hyung). Do Kwon faces charges related to the US$ 60 billion wipeout of cryptocurrencies he created. TerraUSD and Luna stablecoins crashed, wiping out investors. Do Kwon is the founder of the failed cryptocurrency Terra. Do Kwon flew to Singapore in May 2022, before Terra crashed, but the authorities say he’s no longer there. On Twitter, Do Kwon has denied that he is in hiding, but has not revealed his whereabouts.
3. EARTH DEFENSE. NASA’s DART spacecraft successfully crashed into an asteroid approximately 7 million miles from Earth. This was conducted a a test to determine if the impact can push the asteroid slightly off course. NASA launched its DART spacecraft in November of 2021.
