Apax Partners Sells Boasso Global to KKR

Apax Partners LLP sold its majority stake in Tampa, Florida-based BOASSO Global Inc. to KKR. Apax bought their share in Boasso, a company that specializes in servicing ISO containers, in 2015. Boasso has 34 depots throughout the globe, where customers can get maintenance, transportation, and cleaning services. The deal was revealed on October 6, 2022.
KKR made the investment through its KKR Global Infrastructure investments IV fund.

Kirkland & Ellis and JP Morgan Securities were Apax Partners and Boasso’s legal and financial advisors respectively. KKR was represented by Jefferies LLC as their financial advisor and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP as their legal advisor.
