Greenko Group Eyes Pump Storage Project Near Gandhi Sagar

Renewable energy firm Greenko Group (Greenko Energy Holdings) seeks to invest Rs 10,000 crore to commit to a pumped storage project near Gandhi Sagar in Madhya Pradesh’s Neemuch district. Greenko Group is owned by Orix Corporation, GIC Private Limited, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). Greenko currently operates over 500 MW wind and solar capacities across five districts of Madhya Pradesh.
Earlier, Hyderabad-based drug maker Granules India formed a strategic partnership with Greenko Group to develop a first-of-its-kind Integrated Green Pharmaceutical Zones (GPZ) starting with Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
