Former Goldman Sachs Managing Director Roger Ng Gets 10 Years for 1MDB Scandal

Former Goldman Sachs Managing Director Roger Ng was sentenced to 10 years in prison. This is for the massive 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) bribery and money laundering scheme. Roger Ng is a 51-year-old Malaysian national. Ng was convicted in 2022 in a New York federal court in Brooklyn. Ng is Goldman Sachs’ former head of investment banking in Malaysia.
